Terry's expert tip: The Noizy Oyster offers an all-you-can-eat oyster roast on Saturdays. Recommended for Seafood because: The convenient downtown location is a short distance from the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and major attractions. The new vibe and menu add to a great atmosphere for a beach vacation lunch or dinner, especially on the outdoor patio deck. The Noizy Oyster also has a full bar with great deals and a wide variety of craft beers and house wines. But patrons can now choose from a wide selection of new dishes, like the popular Lobster Mac 'N Cheese, the Seafood Nachos and Fried Oyster Salad. This small seafood shack is a Myrtle Beach institution that underwent a recent change in ownership. The Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk provides a dozen dining options in a short stretch down the waterfont and Calabash has a small district of seafood establishments that make it impossible to go wrong. There's also the coziness of a small oyster shack, like you will find at Rockerfeller's and Bimini's Oyster Bar.Of course, some prefer to go straight to the source, and Calabash and Murrells Inlet have a broad range of seafood restaurants that take their fresh catches straight from the boat to your table. Mega-seafood buffets like Captain George's Seafood Restaurant are abundant in Myrtle Beach. (the self-titled Seafood Capital of the World), the Myrtle Beach area is surrounded by lots of fresh catches - and lots of places to enjoy them. The ready availability means plenty of options for seafood-lovers, a difficult list to trim down to 10.Whether you're looking for an all-you-can-eat buffet or a hole-in-the-wall oyster bar, you're sure to find a perfect fit for your taste buds. From Murrells Inlet (the self-titled Seafood Capital of S.C.) to Calabash, N.C. The 60-mile stretch of coastline that makes up the Grand Strand includes two of the best fishing ports on the East Coast. We will soon be moving to the area, but with all the dining choices available this one will not be on the list. The Myrtle Beach area is literally swimming in seafood, with local waters producing some of the best hauls of fish, shrimp, crab and oysters. Seemed too busy with the large table close to us which appeared to have several food problems as well. The annoying part was even though informed of the problems, a manager never appeared. Star of the dish was the scallops, very tasty. Shrimp were cooked well, flavor was okay. Fish portion was rather small, but flavor was good. When the seafood came the second time, it was correctly fried. Wife was very hungry and decided to not take a chance on sending it back (though the waiter did apologize and offer to replace it to his credit) and ate the steak and old tasting potato that came with it. A little butter on top may have helped, but I doubt it. Over cooked, dry, burnt/crispy around the edges. The cook should be keel hauled for what he did to that steak. Waiter apologized and took it back to have it corrected. Service staff were very good and friendly. Looking forward to dining here based on reviews.
